RingAll vs. other phone providers
Most business phone providers sell a capable modern system, then hand you a login and leave you to build it out. RingAll gives you the same kind of system (auto-attendant, mobile and web apps, texting, video meetings, and call center tools) and builds the whole thing for you, remotely, with hands-on help from real people.
Here's what that difference looks like in practice.
Who builds your phone system?
Other providers hand you a login and leave you to build it out. We build it for you. You just plug in your phones. We do the rest, remotely, with hands-on help from real people.
| Build-out task | RingAll | Other providers |
|---|---|---|
| Who builds your phone system? | We build it for you | You build it yourself in an admin portal |
| Users and extensions | Done for you | You set it up yourself |
| Call flows and auto-attendant | Done for you, after one conversation | You set it up yourself |
| Ring groups and call queues | Done for you | You set it up yourself |
| Voicemail and greetings | Done for you | You set it up yourself |
| Number porting | We handle it from start to finish | Port request typically started by you |
| Desk phones | Arrive configured: plug in and they ring | Varies by provider |
| Your job | Plug in your phones | Build and maintain the configuration |
"Other providers" describes the common do-it-yourself setup model, not any one company.
Hands-on help from real people
With a lot of providers, support means help articles, a ticket queue, and a new agent every time you call. With RingAll, real people on our team set up your system and stay reachable afterwards, by phone and screen share, wherever you are in the US.
| RingAll | Other providers | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Done for you, remotely, after one conversation | Help articles and an admin portal |
| Changes later | Call or email us and we make the change | Usually up to you |
| Who you talk to | Our US-based team, by phone and screen share | Often a general support queue |
| Hours | 8am to 5pm Pacific | Varies by provider |

Send us your current bill
We'll put together a side-by-side quote.

Your current service keeps working until the port is complete. Porting usually takes about 72 hours or less, depending on your previous provider. Tip: check your current agreement for term-end dates before you cancel.
We rebuild your call flows
Menus, groups, hours, voicemail, so callers notice nothing except better service.
Keep your phones?
Probably. Nearly all standard VoIP phones (about 99%) work with RingAll. Tell us the make and model and we'll confirm.
